Homelessness and poverty demand compassionate, practical action. We need more shelter space, more permanent housing, stronger social services, and better mental health support for residents who are struggling. My focus is on building a coordinated response that treats people with dignity while advancing long-term poverty reduction across Scarborough Centre.

- Support more permanent housing options that help people move beyond emergency shelter
- Advance housing solutions that combine stability, dignity, and long-term support
Social Services & Mental Health Support
- Strengthen social services so residents can access help earlier and more easily
- Expand mental health support for individuals and families facing crisis, instability, or isolation
- Support coordinated care that connects housing, mental health, and community-based support
Poverty Reduction Initiatives
- Advance poverty reduction initiatives that address the root causes of homelessness and economic insecurity
- Support local programs that improve food security, income stability, and access to essential services
- Work with community partners to build stronger support networks for vulnerable residents
