Smart City Infrastructure
- Advance smart traffic signals, smart lighting, and sensor-based city management
- Support City-wide open data initiatives that enable community-driven tools
- Promote fibre broadband expansion to ensure Ward 21 is fully digitally connected
Digital Services
- Champion intuitive, accessible City of Toronto digital service portals
- Push for digital permits, licenses, and service requests for residents and businesses
- Ensure all digital services have accessible in-person alternatives for seniors and newcomers
Tech Economy
- Attract tech businesses and innovation hubs to Scarborough's employment areas
- Partner with local schools and Centennial College on STEM and coding programs for youth
- Support the City's innovation procurement office in piloting new technologies in Ward 21
